Technician Training

Technicians starting with JTC complete a detailed training program, followed by quarterly training sessions to continue developing and equipping their technical skills to support your school.

Team Approach

Every JTC Technician is supported by our broader team, backed up by senior technicians and technical managers. Our team approach provides support along with progression and development opportunities for our technicians.

Asset Tracking

We offer a web-based Asset Management application that allows you to:

  • Manage your school’s assets
  • Track asset changes
  • Perform stock take actions by simply scanning barcodes into the application
  • Run in-depth reports

Service Delivery Standards

We have developed a stringent set of service delivery standards to help ensure our customers receive a consistent high standard of service from our team.

Our Technical Managers visit schools throughout the year to ensure service delivery standards are being met, and to meet with Technology Coordinators and Principals to discuss technology planning and services being provided

Managed WWCC

JTC Technology manages the Working with Children Check requirements for our technicians. For DoE schools, we have an automated system which provides the required information as per the NSW DoE WWCC procedures.

Technician Management

Our services include active management of our technicians.

Our managers are available to assist with any technical questions or technician concerns that may arise throughout the year.

In the unlikely event that a technician is not the right fit for your school, we can provide an alternate technician at no additional cost.

Support Application

JTC Technology offers a web support app which enables your staff to submit and track requests for assistance. Available to all schools through our client portal (excluding ad-hoc support).

Daily Reporting & Client Portal

Schools receive a service report following each day’s visit, listing start time, finish time, and tasks that have been worked on. This helps keep the school informed of progress and remaining tasks.

Access our portal to view the technicians at your site, the work completed and view technician schedules. The Client Portal with JTC Technology includes a range of applications available to education and business clients.

MyPl training

JTC Technicians complete all the relevant DoE mandatory training as listed in MyPl, including Child Protection, Code of Conduct, Cyber Security, Work Health and Safety, Data Breach Preparedness Managing & Responding to data breaches, amongst others.
